Rack-supported mezzanine, as the name shows, uses steel pallet racks as the weight support components to the mezzanine flooring offering additional vertical warehouse space without  extra cost for warehouse expansion. The mezzanine flooring space can be designed as platforms for work areas where palletized products can be stored on the racks below and other unpalletized items can be stored upstairs. 

As an excellent choice for space saving, pallet rack systems can also be constructed with mezzanine walkways inserted for second-level or third-level product handling.
