In order to test the bird, he went to catch the meat for the third time, when the bird came to peck him again. Jiang Ziya knew that this was a sacred bird, so he pretended to chase the bird and chased it all the way to an unmanned hillside. The god bird perched on a silk bamboo, and murmured: "Jiang Ziya, ginger Ziya, do not eat meat with your hands, the meat is under my feet..." Jiang Ziya listened to the instructions of the god bird, and hurriedly picked two thin bamboo backs. To home. At this time, his wife urged him to eat meat again, so Jiang Ziya put two silk bamboos into the bowl to sandwich the meat, and suddenly saw the silk bamboo hissing puffs of blue smoke. Jiang Ziya pretended not to know about poisoning, and said to his wife: "Why does the meat smoke? Is it poisonous?" Jiang Ziya picked up the meat and delivered it to his wife's mouth. His wife turned pale in fright, and hurriedly ran out of the house.

Jiang Ziya understood that this silk bamboo was a gift from a divine bird, and any poison could be detected. Since then, two silk bamboos have been used for each meal. After the incident broke out, his wife not only dared not to poison any more, but the neighbors also learned to eat with bamboo sticks. Later, more and more people followed suit, and the custom of eating with chopsticks was passed down from generation to generation.

This legend is obviously a product of the worship of Jiang Ziya, which is not consistent with historical records.
