Fiber Optical Isolator
The optical fiber isolator is a dual - port non - reciprocal
optical passive device. It can attenuate the optical signal
transmitted along the forward direction very little while attenuate
the optical signal transmitted along the opposite direction very
much, constituting a one-way path of light. When the laser and the
transmission fiber are indirectly inserted into the optical
isolator, the reflected light generated from the distal end face of
the fiber and the interface of the fiber connector in the line can
be effectively suppressed to return to the laser, so as to ensure
the stability of the laser working state and reduce the noise
caused by the reflected light in the system. This is more important
for high - rate optical fiber communication systems. There are many
kinds of optical isolators. Shenzhen Xingbo Technology can provide
you with various types of optical isolators, mainly block optical
isolators, all-fiber optical isolators, integrated optical
waveguide optical isolators and optical isolators independent of
polarization, etc. Its function is to prevent the backward
transmission light in the optical path due to various reasons on
the light source and optical path system produced by the bad
influence.
