Aluminum Alloy

1. Light and soft. The density of aluminum is 2171g/cm3, about one-third of the density of steel; Young's modulus is also about one-third of steel.
2. Good strength. The tensile strength of pure aluminum is about 80MN/m2, which is one-fifth of low carbon steel. But after heat treatment and alloying reinforcement, can reach the corresponding strength value of low carbon steel.
3. Good corrosion resistance. One of the characteristics of aluminum alloy is that the surface will form a layer of dense oxide film when in contact with air, the film can prevent corrosion, so good corrosion resistance. If the implementation of the "aluminum oxide film treatment method, it can prevent corrosion.
4. Good processing performance. The extrusion performance of the profile for railway vehicles is good, and the secondary machining and bending processing are also easier.
5. Easy to regenerate. The melting point of aluminum is low (660℃), and the regeneration is simple.
