4"-10" Hot-Dip Galvanized Low Carbon Steel Expanded Mesh
Expanded metal mesh is made by stamping and drawing of low carbon
steel plate, stainless steel plate, nickel plate, aluminum plate,
copper plate, aluminum-magnesium alloy plate and other metal
plates. Beautiful and durable. The expanded metal mesh that is
flattened after punching and drawing has a flat and smooth surface.
After rolling, the surface roughness of the expanded metal mesh is
usually reduced.
The schematic diagram of the expanded metal mesh is as follows:
SWD (Short Way of the Diamond) is the distance from the middle of
the bond on one side to the middle of the bond on the opposite
side.
LWD (Long Way of the Diamond) is the distance across the largest
dimension of the diamond measured halfway between the diamonds.
SWO (Short Way of the Opening) is the width of the opening of the
shortest side of the diamond. SWO does not include the strand
width, where SWD (Short Way of the Diamond) does.
LWO (Long Way of the Opening) is the length of the opening of the
longest side of the diamond. LWO does not include the strand width,
where LWD (Long Way of the Diamond) does.
StrandExpanded metal is composed of strands and bonds. Strands form the
sides of the expanded metal openings. .
Thickness is the measurement from the top surface to bottom surface of the
expanded metal piece.

The use of sprayed expanded metal mesh
Widely used in the isolation and protection of parks, sports
venues, community places, and the protection of large and heavy
machinery and equipment, handicraft manufacturing, highway
guardrails, road green belt protection, oil tanker pedal nets and
boilers, oil mines, locomotives, etc. Work platforms, escalators,
walkways, and in recent years, plastic-sprayed expanded metal mesh
has also been used in the construction industry, highways, and
bridges as steel bars.
