Yokogawa EJA/EJX Series Differential Pressure Transmitter With Fieldbus Communication

The high performance differential pressure transmitter FJA 11OE uses a single crystal silicon resonant sensor and is suitable for measuring the flow of liquid, gas or steam as well as the level, density and pressure. The EVA110E outputs a DC signal of 4 to 20 mA, corresponding to the measured differential pressure. Its sensors are accurate and stable, and can also measure static pressure, which can be displayed on integral indicators, or monitored remotely by BRAIN or HART communication. Other key features include fast response, remote Settings using communication and self-diagnosis. Foundation fieldbus, PROFIBUS PA and 1 to 5 V DC with HART(low power) protocol types are also available. With the exception of the fieldbus, PROFIBUS, and low-power types, the EJA-E series models follow standard configurations that meet SIL 2 safety requirements.

DPharp digital sensors directly output digital signals without the need for digital conversion of analog signals, reducing errors and providing accurate, reliable and stable measurement performance.

Not only is the DPharp sensor's rugged design resistant to overpressure, but the mechanical design inside the capsule further provides overpressure protection against overpressure events such as incorrect valve bank operation and unexpected pressure surges.

 

Accuracy Under All Operating Conditions

Yokogawa's DPharp sensor has the ability to measure differential pressure (DP), static pressure (SP) and sensor temperature from a single sensor.  Given these three sets of process data, Yokogawa's transmitter can compensate DP measurements of temperature effects and static pressure effects in real time.  This is called dynamic compensation and improves the accuracy of DP measurements. 

 

Extended Calibration Intervals

The long-term stability of the EJA-E series allows you to extend the interval time between calibration and reduce the time cost and maintenance cost.
