The robust and reliable V4 Series FLOTECT@ Vane Flow Switches can be used to automatically protect equipment and piping systems from damage caused by reduced or lost flow. V4 is time-tested and has been used in tens of thousands of pipelines and processes around the world. The unique magnetic actuated switch design guarantees its excellent performance, it has no bellows, spring and or seal failure. Instead, the freely swinging blade attracts a magnet in the solid metal switch body, and a simple lever activates the snap switch.

Anti-leakage switch body is machined from bar stock

Blades can be customized according to user needs, model V4, or field adjustable multi-layer blades, model V4-2-U (see setting table)

Weatherproof, designed to NEMA-4

Explosion-proof (see specifications)

Can be easily installed directly on the pipeline through welded pipe threads, tee threads or flanges (see application installation drawing)

Can be used on pipes larger than 1.5 inches

Electrical components can be replaced without disassembly, thus guaranteeing uninterrupted processes

Brass body withstands 1000 psig (69 bar) high pressure and 2000 psig (138 bar) 316 stainless steel body

Application

Protect pumps, motors and other equipment from damage caused by low or no flow

Control the sequential operation of equipment such as pumps

Automatic start of auxiliary pump and engine

Water-cooled engines, machines and operating processes stop when coolant flow is interrupted

Turn off the heater when there is no air flow through the heating tube

Control the gate according to the flow
