Description Rotational molding or rotomolding is a low volume, low pressure,
high temperature thermoplastic forming process. We use it to
produce hollow, one-piece water tanks. We use integrated molding to
make the body of the tanks, therefore they don’t have welded
joints. Our rotational molding process leaves both the interior and the exterior of the water tanks smooth and leakage-free. This makes them stronger and better able to withstand any type of impact or vibration during use. Being roto-molded makes them last longer than water tanks produced using injection. Our rotationally molded tanks deliver optimal performance. The mold for a rotomoulded water tank is usually made from aluminum, steel, or a combination of materials. It is carefully designed to achieve the desired shape and capacity of the tank, including features such as inlets, outlets, and reinforcing ribs. During the manufacturing process, the mold is loaded with powdered plastic resin, typically polyethylene. The mold is then heated and rotated simultaneously in an oven, causing the plastic resin to melt and evenly coat the interior surface of the mold. The rotation continues as the mold is cooled, allowing the plastic to solidify and form the final shape of the water tank. Specification
