PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

For smaller scale production, flat knitting machines often provide effective patterning and 2D and 3D shaping. The conventional creel may be located in the top rear of the machine because flat knitting machines need less yarn, fewer feeders, cam systems, and bobbins. The yarn is fed from the bobbins to the checking device, then to the feeders and/or tensioners for yarn on either the left or right side of the machine. This avoids a contact between the yarn and the carriage bow. A length of yarn is released after the yarn guide has returned from the far left or far right position. Utilizing a yarn length compensator enables this shift.
