This test system meets the standard requirements of IEC 62196-1Ed.4CDV 2020 clause 12.3, clause 24, table 10, clause 34.2, 34.4 and 35.4., IEC 62916-2, IEC 62916-3, etc.

 

Product Overview


 

This system is designed to perform temperature rise tests after the EV plug and socket are subjected to their rated current. It evaluates the surface heating of electrical accessories under load conditions and determines whether the terminal temperature rise complies with relevant standards. It is also applicable for conducting short-duration high-current withstand tests on grounding contacts.

The system operates with custom-developed software controlled via computer. All standard test procedures and data evaluations are automatically managed by the software, ensuring user-friendly operation. It is intended to assess the surface temperature increase and electrode heating of charging interfaces and electrical components when carrying load current, verifying compliance with temperature rise requirements specified in applicable standards.
