AATCC169(1), ISO 105B-06, ISO 105B-02 Material industry: ASTM G155, ASTM D6551 Equipment Overview This is a small, simple and economical xenon lamp aging test chamber. It adopts a low-power air-cooled xenon lamp and uses a mirror reflection system to ensure that the radiation energy in the studio is large enough and evenly distributed. It comes standard with a UV filter that allows the passage of UV light below the cut-off point of natural sunlight (equivalent to un-atmospheric sunlight) to provide faster and harsher test conditions for accelerated weathering in artificial climates. The operator can arbitrarily set various parameters (irradiation energy, irradiation time, blackboard temperature, etc.) required for the test through the man-machine interface, and can check the operating status of the machine at any time. The operating parameters during the test can be directly download to PC through the USB interface. Technical Parameters
Equipment Principle Artificial weathering or artificial exposure of the coating or polymer material with xenon arc light filtered by the filter, the purpose is to make the coating or polymer material after a certain exposure radiation energy, make the selected A certain degree of change in properties, or exposure to radiant energy required to age a sample to a certain degree. The properties selected for monitoring should be the properties of the material that are important in practical applications. The properties of the exposed material can be compared to the properties of a similarly prepared unexposed material (control sample), or to a simultaneously exposed material with known properties (reference sample).
Typical application This instrument uses a UV filter that allows the passage of UV light below the cut-off point of natural sunlight (equivalent to un-atmospheric sunlight), simulating the full spectrum of sunlight in the best possible way. And by properly controlling the temperature, the damage effect of sunlight and temperature on polymer materials can be fully obtained (material aging includes fading, loss of light, strength reduction, cracking, peeling, chalking and oxidation, etc.). In a matter of days or weeks, this test chamber is capable of reproducing damage from months or years of outdoor environments. It is the most economical, compact, simple, reliable and easy-to-use xenon lamp aging test chamber, which is widely used in the estimation and evaluation of material life in paint coatings, automobiles, plastic products, wood products, rubber and other industries.
