Brief introduction:

This meter gauge container flat wagon is specially designed for the meter gauge railway in Southeast Asia. It could load two 20 foot containers, one 20 foot container and one 40 foot containers. The pay load is about 50 tons.

This wagon has the feature of simple design and economic cost. It is mainly composed of under frame, bogies, coupler buffer, air brake system and container locks. The under frame is all steel welded structure, whose main profile and plates are welded by Q345B low alloy high strength structural steel. The bogies are mature three-piece casting steel bogie. The bogies adopt variable frictional damping wedge type damping device and the friction pair are made of were resistant material. The bogie center suspension is composed of 8 sets outer helical springs and 8 sets inner helical springs, whose materials are high strength spring steel 60Si2CrVA. The Bogie adopts AAR 5’’*9’’ type C tapered roller bearings and adapter type axle box. The performance of this wagon has been calculated by computer and testified by actual running.

The wagon’s air brake systems could adopt Chinese 120 brake valve, Knorr KE valve or Wabtec ABDX valve, equipped with empty/load adjustment device.
