The structured packing is a kind of packing which is arranged in uniform geometric pattern and neatly stacked in the tower. Because it has the advantages of large specific surface area, small pressure drop, uniform fluid distribution, high mass and heat transfer rate, it has been applied. The early development is metal structured packing, plastic structured packing, ceramic structured packing and carbon fiber structured packing have been developed.
The structured packing is mainly divided into: mesh corrugated packing, mesh corrugated packing and plate corrugated packing. Main materials :304,304L,316,316L.
Stainless steel wire mesh corrugated packing is characterized by: high theoretical plate number, large flux, low pressure drop, low load function, theoretical tray number increase and the reduction of gas load, no low load, large elasticity of operation, not clear extension effect, and can satisfied the requirement of accurate, large and high vacuum distillation unit.
