Description

The vertical mill achieves the corresponding fineness by rolling the material (0-44mm) on the rotating grinding disc with pressure rollers. This equipment has the advantages of high grinding efficiency, large drying capacity, easy adjustment of product fineness, low noise, low power consumption, simple process flow, low wear, and low operating costs. The main structure of a vertical mill consists of a separator, grinding roller device, grinding disc device, pressurization device, reducer, electric motor, shell, and other parts.

High grinding efficiency
The vertical mill uses grinding rollers and material beds to crush and grind materials, with low energy consumption. The power consumption of the grinding system is reduced by 20-30% compared to the ball milling system. As the humidity of the raw materials increases, the energy-saving effect becomes more significant.
Strong drying ability
Vertical mills use gas conveying materials. When grinding materials with high moisture content, the inlet air temperature can be controlled to achieve the final moisture content of the product. In the vertical mill, materials with moisture content as high as 12-15% can be dried. Even in dry ball mills, only materials with moisture content of 3-4% can be dried.
Large particle size of incoming materials
It can reach about 5% of the diameter of the grinding roller, usually 40-100 millimeters, so large and medium-sized vertical mills can eliminate the need for secondary crushing.

Limestone Vertical Roller Mill Working principle:

The electric motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the reducer, and the material falls into the center of the grinding disc from the feeding port. At the same time, hot air enters the grinding chamber from the inlet. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material moves towards the edge of the grinding disc and is crushed by the grinding roller when passing through the circular groove on the grinding disc. The crushed material is carried up by the high-speed airflow at the wind ring at the edge of the grinding disc, and large particles directly fall onto the grinding disc for re grinding. When the material in the airflow passes through the dynamic and static separator, under the action of the rotating rotor, the coarse powder falls onto the grinding disc for re grinding, and the qualified fine powder is discharged with the airflow, Collecting in the powder collection device is the product. Materials containing moisture are dried during contact with hot gases to achieve the required product moisture.
