Product Description: BME280 is an integrated environmental sensor developed specifically to meet the critical design requirements of small size and low power consumption for mobile applications. The device combines high-linearity and high-precision pressure, humidity, and temperature sensors in A 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.93 mm³ 8-pin, metal-capped LGA package designed for low current consumption (3.6 µA at 1 Hz), long-term stability, and high EMC robustness. With extremely fast response times, humidity sensors can support the performance and precision requirements of emerging applications such as context awareness over a wide temperature range. The pressure sensor is an absolute pressure sensor, which has extremely high precision, high resolution and very low noise. The integrated temperature sensor is optimized for extremely low noise and high resolution. The device is mainly used for temperature compensation of pressure and humidity sensors and can also be used to assess ambient temperature. The BME280 supports a complete range of operating modes to flexibly optimize device power consumption, resolution, and filter performance. The Sensortec BME280 plugboard is a PCB equipped with BME280 pressure and humidity sensors. The device allows easy access to the sensor pin through a simple socket. All Sensortec sensor plugboards have the same substrate surface, and these devices can be plugged into advanced development tools such as Sensortec development boards.
