H3C S5130S-EI Series Enhanced Gigabit Access Switches Product Overview H3C S5130S-EI Series Switches – A simple (fixed power design), cost-effective and easy to deploy access switching solution with POE+ that offer enhanced security, high-density GE and 10GbE uplinks, static route, RIP, OSPF, SDN and IRF enabled, flexible management, which meet the requirements for SME access, enterprise desktop access and high-density campus access.
Software Defined Network (SDN) SDN decouples the control layer from forwarding layer via OpenFlow,
simplifying network O&M and enabling flexible traffic
scheduling. Featuring large-capacity flow tables, H3C S5130S-EI
switches work with H3C SDN controllers to build simplified
two-layer networks. It supports on-demand function upgrades,
effectively reducing network management difficulty and maintenance
costs. IRF2 (Intelligent Resilient Framework 2) This series supports IRF2 virtualization, grouping up to 9 physical
switches into one unified logical device for simplified deployment
and management, with key advantages as below: • Simplified Management: The whole stack can be managed via a single port and unified IP,
without separate configuration for individual devices. • High Scalability: Plug-and-play stacking and batch upgrade reduce network expansion
costs. • High Reliability: Patented 1:N backup ensures seamless master failover, non-stop
Layer 3 forwarding and zero service downtime. • Load Balancing: Cross-device link aggregation realizes multi-link redundancy and
higher network resource utilization. • Flexible Deployment: IRF2 runs on standard 1GE/10GE ports for rational local and
upstream traffic splitting. Comprehensive Security Control The switches support single-port multi-authentication (MAC, 802.1X,
Portal) for diverse terminals like printers and PCs. SSHv2
encryption defends against IP spoofing and plaintext password
interception. Built-in ARP detection and rate limiting prevent ARP spoofing and
CPU flooding attacks. Combined with iMC-based EAD terminal control,
it integrates terminal security and network access policies to
achieve active, centralized and full-scale network defense. High Availability The switches provide multi-level hardware protection including
over-current, over-voltage and overheat prevention, plus
intelligent fan control and fault alarm. Partial models support
hot-swappable AC/DC dual power supplies. Supporting LACP, STP,
RSTP, MSTP, Smart Link and IRF2 1:N backup, it ensures high network
stability and service continuity. Visualization Ability Built-in Telemetry pushes real-time device data and alarms to
O&M platforms via gRPC, supporting network tracing,
troubleshooting, risk warning and optimization to guarantee stable
user experience. Abundant QoS Policies It supports L2-L4 fine-grained traffic classification based on MAC,
IP, TCP/UDP port, protocol and VLAN, with SP, WRR and SP+WRR queue
scheduling. It also provides 8kbps granularity CAR policing,
bidirectional port/flow mirroring and sFlow sampling for efficient
network monitoring and troubleshooting. Professional Surge Protection Equipped with professional built-in surge protection, it delivers
6KV anti-surge capability, reducing device damage risks and
ensuring stable operation in harsh environments. Excellent Manageability Compatible with SNMPv1/v2c/v3, OpenView and H3C iMC, it supports
CLI, Telnet and encrypted SSH 2.0 for convenient and secure
management. Green Energy-saving Design Adopting Auto-Power-Down and EEE energy-saving modes, the switch
reduces power consumption during port idle status. All models
comply with EU RoHS standards. 8-port and 24-port fanless models
further cut power consumption and noise for eco-friendly and
