GB/T 30667-2014 8-Strand High Strength Polyester and Polyolefin Dual Fibre Rope

Description:

GB/T 30667-2014 8-Strand High Strength Polyester and Polyolefin Dual Fibre Rope is made up of Polyolefin and PP fiber.The PP fibre shall be filament high strength industrial fibre with heat and light resisatance.The Polyolefin fibre shall be suitable PET fibre or PET fibre with 15% to 50% PE. It shall consist of four S-twist strands and four Z-twist strands arranged so that S-twist strands alternate(individually or in pairs)with Z-strands(individually or in pairs). It has UV resistance abrasion and chemical resistance. Its perfect comninmation and construction creats the rope with much lower elongation, when we use it, it make sure the rope have better stability and safety. Polyester fiber can also be used to make the cover of double braid mooring ropes, which greatly increases the abrasion resistance of the ropes. This product is used in ocean transportation, petrochemical vessels and other fields.

4. A force determined by the test methods specified in GB/T 8834 is not necessarily an accurate indication of the force at which that rope might break in other circumstances and situations. The type and quality of terminations, the rate of force application, prior conditioning and previous force applications to the rope can significantly influence the breaking force. A rope bent around a post, capstan, pulley or sheave may break at a significantly lower force. A knot or other distortion in a rope may significantly reduce the breaking force.
