(Alloy X) plates deliver exceptional high-temperature performance
and oxidation resistance for demanding industrial applications. Product Specifications
Material Overview Hastelloy X (UNS N06002) is a solid-solution-strengthened nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum
alloy offering exceptional oxidation resistance, high-temperature
strength, and excellent fabricability. Known commercially as Alloy X or HX, it is widely used in aerospace, chemical processing, and
industrial furnace applications. Key Features and Benefits Outstanding Oxidation Resistance Resists oxidation and scaling up to 1200°C (2200°F) with a
protective oxide layer for furnace components and combustion
systems. High Temperature Strength Superior creep and rupture strength maintains mechanical integrity
under long-term high stress and temperature conditions. Excellent Fabricability Readily fabricated using standard forming and machining techniques
with excellent weldability via TIG, MIG, and resistance welding. Resistance to Carburization Demonstrates resistance to carburization and nitriding in reducing
atmospheres, maintaining surface stability and strength. Versatile Performance Performs well in oxidizing, carburizing, and neutral atmospheres,
