F-TECH-FSR370 stands out as a low-stress silicone foamed material with remarkable characteristics. This silicone-based material boasts a low density while displaying exceptional resistance to compression set. Unlike conventional carbon-based foam materials, F-TECH-FSR370 exhibits outstanding performance across a wide temperature range (-55 to 200 °C), excels in flame retardancy (V-0 rating), and possesses remarkably low smoke density and toxicity. Furthermore, this material showcases excellent durability against aging and weathering, rendering it suitable for various applications such as shock absorption, cushioning, support, sound insulation, protection, insulation, and fireproofing.

 

Main Features

 

  1. Excellent flame retardancy and fire resistance;
  2. Excellent compression set resistance and creep resistance;
  3. Excellent heat and cold resistance, continuous operation from -55°C to 200°C;
  4. Good insulation, and green environmental protection
  5. * Wide operating temperature – silicone foam has a temperature range of -67°F to 392°F (-55°C to 200°C).
    * Water sealing – closed cell products offer good water sealing with relatively low compressive forces.
    * Dust sealing – open cell and closed-cell products can be used for sealing out dust with low compressive forces.
    * Compression set resistance – silicone foam offers excellent compression set resistance (ability to rebound to original
    thickness).
    * UV and ozone resistance – silicone products have excellent UV and ozone resistance due in part to their inorganic backbone. This provides long-term performance.
    * UL gasket – most silicone foam products are UL 94 flame rated for the gasket.

SubjectDescription
Silicone rubberIt is a high-performance elastomer with exceptionally high and low-temperature properties. Silicone moulded and die-cut gaskets can withstand within a temperature range of -75° F to +500° F. The low-temperature flexibility of silicone is unmatched by any other elastomer.
EPDM rubberIt is a copolymer of ethylene and propylene. EPDM rubber is one of the most popular, versatile materials available. EPDM is known for its excellent ozone, sunlight, and heat resistance and exceptionally good weather aging properties. Its distinctive ability to stabilize colour and resist harsh weather conditions makes it an ideal choice for outdoor applications.
Nitrile rubberIt is also known as Buna-N, is the most widely used elastomer for seals and gaskets. Its properties provide superior resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic fluids, gasoline, alkalis and acids. Nitrile is the polymer of choice for applications requiring oil and solvent resistance.
SBR rubberIt is a synthetic polymer, commonly known as “Red Rubber”. SBR is a copolymer of styrene and butadiene and has properties similar to Natural Rubber. SBR is highly resilient and commonly used because it is cost-efficient and has the ability to deform to uneven flange edges. SBR (red rubber) exhibits excellent impact strength, high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and heat resistance, and sustains flexibility at lower temperatures.
