Composed mainly of 90% Muscovite (or Phlogopite), it has 10% high temperature resistant silicone resin in its material. As a beneficial protective material for lithium batteries, Flexible Mica Plate has two species: The first is Muscovite Flexible Mica Plate, a silver coloured material which has a heat resistance of up to 500° Celsius/ 932° Fahrenheit (in constant operation) and 750° Celsius / 1382° Fahrenheit (in intermittent operation). The second is Phlogopite Flexible Mica Plate, which carries a more golden/amber colour and has a fire resistant limit of 750° Celsius / 1382° Fahrenheit (in constant operation), and can endure up to 1000° Celsius/ 1832° Fahrenheit (in intermittent operation).
