F-TECH-FSR370 is a low-stress silicone foamed silicone material. It has a low density and excellent resistance to compression set. Compared with traditional carbon-based foam materials, the material has excellent high and low-temperature resistance (-55-200 °C), high flame retardant (V-0), extremely low smoke density and smoke toxicity. In addition, the material has excellent ageing and weather resistance, making it ideal for all types of shock absorption, cushioning, support, sound insulation, protection, insulation and fire protection.

Silicone Sponge Gasket MaterialsCustom Gasket Mfg. provides precision die cut, water jet cut and extruded silicone sponge gaskets and seals for a wide range of industries and applications. These materials range from commercial to aerospace grade. They are mainly used for thermal shielding, vibration mounts, press relief pads, environmental cushioning and gaskets. These materials excel in any application requiring UV, ozone and weather resistance. Silicone sponge has a high tensile and tear resistance making it more durable than silicone foam. It is available in four grades; soft (5-9 psi), medium (6-14 psi), firm (12-20 psi) and extra firm (18-24 psi). This material is flexible and compressible, has thermal stability, and non-stick properties and has ozone and UV resistance. It is available in many different formulations to give it a low compression set, flame resistance, thermal conductivity, and fuel resistance. Silicone sponge is also available with fabric reinforcement to give it stability. Silicone sponge is available from 1/2″ to 2″ thick and can handle extreme temperatures ranging from -100°F to + 500°F.
