The AM26LS32Ax and AM26LS33Ax devices are quad differential line receivers for balanced and unbalanced digital data transmission. All four receivers have an enable function that provides two selectable inputs: active high and active low. The three-state outputs allow the device to be directly connected to bus-organized systems. A fail-safe design ensures that the outputs are always high when the inputs are open circuit. The AM26LS32A and AM26LS33A have an additional amplifier stage compared to the AM26LS32 and AM26LS33 to increase sensitivity. The input impedance has been increased, reducing bus loading. The additional stage increases propagation delay; however, this does not affect interchangeability in most applications. The AM26LS32AC and AM26LS33AC are characterized for operation over the 0°C to 70°C temperature range. The AM26LS32AI is characterized for operation over the -40°C to 85°C temperature range. The AM26LS32AM and AM26LS33AM are characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of –55°C to 125°C.
