The TLV854x ultra-low power operational amplifiers are suitable for cost-optimized sensing applications in wireless and low-power wired devices. The TLV854x family of operational amplifiers minimizes power consumption in devices such as motion detection security systems where battery life is critical, such as microwave and PIR motion sensing systems. The devices' complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) input stages are designed to achieve ultra-low femtoampere offset currents, thereby reducing IBIAS and IOS errors that would otherwise affect sensitive applications. Examples of these include transimpedance amplifier (TIA) configurations with megohm-level feedback resistors and high source impedance sensing applications. In addition, built-in EMI protection reduces the device's sensitivity to unwanted RF signals from cell phones, WiFi, radio transmitters, tag readers, etc.
