Grade:HGBD-1000
Product:Magnesium Hydroxide (Brucite Powder) HGBD-1000
Application
Magnesium hydroxide(Brucite Powder) is widely applied in different
fields, such as steel slag, power plants flue gas desulfurization,
magnesia fertilizer, waste water treatment and so on. But the most
important factor in the application of magnesium hydroxide flame
retardant is that all polymer composition must comply with strict
fire safety and smoke and poisonous gas release requirements.
However, the use of natural brucite production of magnesium
hydroxide flame retardant products meet all the requirements. The
detail application as following:Polyolefin Compound (HFFR),Wire
Electric Cable(PVC),Crosslinked Polyethylene
(XLPE),Polypropylene(PP),Conveyor Belt (Rubber),Silica
Gel,Electrical Parts (PA),Floorboard,Wallboard,Stack
desulfurization.
Decriptions
Magnesium hydroxide(Brucite Powder) is a physical flame retardant
with three functions of flame retardant, smoke limited and filling
in rubber and plastics. It has the characteristics of non-toxic,
odorless, good stability, non-volatile, well dispersion,
non-corrosive, etc. And it is the preferred option of filler
material for polymer material with effective flame retardant.
Magnesium hydroxide(Brucite Powder) flame retardant releases water
when it is thermally decomposed, absorbs a large amount of latent
heat to reduce the surface temperature of the synthetic polymer
material with filling brucite powder , and has the functions of
inhibiting polymer decomposition, meanwhile cooling the generated
flammable gas. The decomposed magnesium oxide is also a good flame
retardant material, which can help improve the fire resistance of
synthetic polymer materials, and the water vapor it releases can
also be used as a smoke limited.
Advantages
a. halogen-free, easy to disperse and good compatibility.
b. Excellent Stability and products meets clients requirement
absolutely
c. Excellent performance on physical properties and flame
retardant.
d. Good heat stability, decomposition temperature at 330 ℃,
especially suitable for resin processed in relative high
temperature.
