Overview: Cemented zero order wave plate is constructed by two quartz plates with their fast axis
crossed. The retardance is determined by the difference in
thickness between the two quartz plates. The main difference between cemented zero order waveplates and
other kind of waveplates is they have epoxy on its optical path as
the two quartz plates are glued with each other by UV epoxy.
However, cemented zero order waveplates are superior in the fact
they are less sensitive to temperature and wavelength changes
