8. Main menu button: used to display the menu items on the smartHMI.

9. Status key: The status key is mainly used to set the parameters in the application package. Its exact functionality depends on the technology packs installed.

10. Start button: The program can be started by using the start button.

11. Reverse start key: Use the reverse start key to start the program in reverse, and the program will run step by step.

12. Stop key: Use the stop key to pause the running program.

13. The keyboard key displays the keyboard. Usually it is not necessary to display the keyboard specifically, smartHMI can recognize the situation that requires input via the keyboard and display the keyboard automatically.

Start button: Through the start button, a program can be started.
The confirmation switch has 3 positions:
1. Not pressed;
2. Middle position;
3. Press.
In the operating modes T1 and T2, the confirmation switch must be kept in the middle position, so that the KUKA robot can be started. When using the automatic operation mode and the external automatic operation mode, the confirmation switch does not work.
The USB interface is used for archive/restore etc. Only for FAT32 formatted USB.

Rotate the switch of the connection manager to select from four operating modes:
1. T1 (manipulator in manual low-speed operation mode): T1 mode is used for test operation, programming and teaching.
2. T2: used for test operation.
3. AUT (manipulator is in external operation mode): AUT mode is used for industrial robots without a superior control system.
4. AUT EXT (external automatic operation): AUT EXT mode is used for industrial robots with superior control systems (such as PLC).
Manual operation of KUKA robots is divided into two modes:
1. Cartesian operation: TCP runs forward or reverse along the axis of a coordinate system.
2. Axis-related operation: each axis can run forward or reverse independently.
