CuNi 70/30 Socket Weld Flange Class150, Forged C71500 Seawater
& Biofouling Resistant 1.Product Description The Copper Nickel Flange is a high-performance piping component
manufactured from Copper-Nickel alloy (commonly 90/10 or 70/30
composition). It is designed to connect pipes, valves, pumps, and
other equipment to form a complete piping system. Due to its
excellent resistance to corrosion in marine environments, this
flange is the industry standard for naval architecture and offshore
engineering. 2. Applications
Marine Engineering: Seawater cooling pipelines, ballast systems,
firefighting systems, shipbuilding. Offshore & Onshore: Oil and gas platforms, desalination plants,
power stations. Industrial: Heat exchangers, condensers, and equipment requiring
resistance to high-velocity seawater corrosion.
3. Product Functions Connection & Extension: Provides reliable, leak-proof
mechanical connection for piping systems. Access & Maintenance: Blind flanges allow easy access to pipe
ends or pressure vessels for inspection and cleaning. Pressure Isolation: Isolates specific sections of a piping system
without draining the entire system. Size & Direction Change: Facilitates changes in pipe diameter
(reducing flanges) or direction when combined with fittings.
