The GE IS215ACLEH1A is an Application Control Layer Module in the EX2100 excitation control system, serving as a microprocessor-based master controller. It replaces the IS215ACLAH1A in EX2100 applications, fitting two slots in standard EX2100 racks.

Comprising a PC/104-Plus microprocessor board and carrier board, it handles tasks across Ethernet and serial networks, with hardware including a 400 MHz Celeron/Pentium CPU, 128 MB DRAM, and 256 KB L2 cache. It features two 10BaseT Ethernet ports, RS-232 COM ports, and non-volatile compact flash memory. A metal faceplate with LEDs (Active, OK, ENET) provides operational status, while a reset switch addresses faults.
