FBM233 Foxboro Field Device System Integrator Module Description: The Foxboro FBM233 is a field-mounted device system integrator module designed to interface Ethernet-based field devices with I/A Series control systems. It supports redundant 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps Ethernet communication for high-speed and reliable data exchange. The module can communicate with up to 64 external field devices through Ethernet hubs or switches. It includes a downloadable I/O software driver from a library of supported protocols. Up to 2000 DCI block connections are supported for complex process control. FBM233 provides seamless data integration into the control system database. The module operates effectively in harsh Class G3 environments. It uses dual RJ-45 ports for connectivity and supports redundancy with a Master-Tracker configuration. |
