Pressure Withstandable: The wheel hub sealing system is not a high-pressure system. The R55W-9 primarily withstands:

Static pressure of the grease: very low.

Thermal expansion pressure: the pressure generated by the expansion of grease and air due to temperature changes at

the wheel end during operation; the design incorporates a margin of safety.

The main challenges are dynamic sealing (rotating shaft) and preventing the intrusion of external contaminants, rather than withstanding extremely high internal pressures.
