QZY Models Elevates Architectural Brilliance: KPF Shenzhen Pengfeng Design House Model Model
Unveiling Innovation: Shenzhen Pengfeng Building by KPF
The Shenzhen Pengfeng Group, a powerhouse in intelligent building systems, renewable energy, and automation, collaborated with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), a renowned international architectural firm, to bring forth the modern marvel - the Pengfeng Building. Nestled in the heart of Bao'an, Shenzhen, this commercial office center seamlessly integrates modern business, commerce, exhibition, and service functions, defining a new era in city-critical building projects.
Technical Parameters:
Designing ExcellenceQZY Models, entrusted with this project, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of its unique characteristics and production challenges. Aligning with customer needs and exhibition hall conditions, a meticulous design scheme was proposed. Before full-scale production, a sample design house model was crafted, and critical facades underwent material scheme comparisons, earning affirmations and praises from both designers and owners. Ingenious SolutionsFacing the constraint of limited exhibition hall space, measures were taken to minimize the exhibit floor area's impact on visitor flow. The original structure of the underground parking lot was retained, with the remaining basement creatively designed using a drawer-like, push-pull configuration.
Material MasteryGiven the semi-open nature of the exhibition hall, susceptible to environmental factors, special attention was paid to material selection. Customized electroplated coating glass, fortified with UV protection, was employed to ensure durability and prevent coating damage. Rigorous testing resulted in achieving optimal light transmittance for the desired visual effect. Illuminating FeaturesThe lighting system for this project accentuates three key aspects – effect optimization, enhanced efficiency, and cost reduction. Firstly, building lighting transitioned from ceiling lamps on each floor to side-core tube lights. Secondly, finished light bands addressed spotlight issues caused by manual welding, providing a seamless lighting effect. Thirdly, external spotlights adorned the building's facade, offering easy operation and greater design flexibility.
