High Purity Plant Oil Molecular Distillation
Below a distillation plant for laboratory use is described. The
plant is used for:
- Process development.
- Feasibility studies.
- Continuous distillation of smaller quantities.
- For heat sensitive chemical, pharmaceutical and food products.
The achievable operating pressure may be as low as 0.001 mbar in
the short path evaporator. (Depending on product and process).

2. Main features of this short path distillation kit
- Material feeding system: 20L jacketed stainless steel tank, and through high precision
gear pump feeding (20-80L/H), stable and continuously.
- Short path evaporator: S304 stainless steel material, and evaporator surface:
0.5㎡, design temperature of evaporator jacket: 350℃.
- Heavier component discharge system: 50L collecting material, discharge pipeline is consist of 1pcs
vacuum ball valve & 1pcs 29# internal grinding mouth bottle
adapter.
- Lighter component discharge system: 20L collecting material, 1 set condenser whose heat exchange area
is 2㎡, cooling and collecting the distillation extract light
component, material is S304 stainless steel.
