Zinc Galvanized Iron Wire - Hot Dipped Galvanized and Electro Plated Galvanized Galvanized Iron Wire Materials: low carbon steel, medium carbon
steel or high carbon steel. Finishes of Galvanized Wire can be zinc coating (hot dipped
galvanized, electro galvanized), PVC coated, annealed, tempered oil
painted. Wire Diameter Ranges: From BWG 8# to 34#. Applications: Galvanized iron wire is mainly used for manufacture
of wire mesh, spring wires, rope wires, knitting wires, scrubbing
wires, cable wire, braided hose wire, fence wire, nail wires, tie
wire, stitching wire, etc. Standard packing: Usually packed in coils of 0.5kg to 800kg packed
with plastic foil or Hessian/PVC cloth.
Galvanized iron wire is divided into hot-dip galvanized wire and
cold plated galvanized wire ( electro-galvanized wire ). Differences Between Hot Dipped Galv. and Electro Galvanized Iron
Wire: Hot-dip galvanized iron wire is produced by steel wire dipping into
a heated and melted zinc solution to forms an infiltration layer
with the base wire material. Surface: Hot dipped galvanized iron wire has a dark, thick yet
uneven zinc coating layer, while electro galv. iron wire has a
uniform surface which is bright, shine, silver. Cost: Hot dipped gal. iron wire consumes more zinc than electro
galv. one. Property: Hot-dip galvanized iron wire has a thicker zinc plating
layer and strong corrosion resistance and good flexibility, while
electro galvanized iron wire is less corrosion resistant, easily
get rusty exposed to long time outdoor water, weather environments. Specification : 1. Production Process: Made of high quality mild steel wire rods. 2.
