Mullite Insulation Refractory Brick is high-alumina refractory materials with mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase. Generally, the alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition with lower alumina also contains a small amount of glass phase and cristobalite; the higher alumina content also contains a small amount of corundum.
Mullite Insulation Refractory Bricks can be used at temperatures ranging from 1300°C to 1600°C with different materials. The body density can be between 0.5 0.6 0.8 0.9 1.0 1.2 1.5 according to user requirements. It acts on high-temperature kilns and directly touches the flame. Features high compressive strength and low thermal conductivity.
