Application

Installation Preparation
  • Shaft Outside Diameter tolerance: ±0.05mm
  • Shaft run out: <0.1mm
  • Shaft end float: <0.13mm
  • No sharp edges on the shaft over the O-ring
Note: During installation, do not scratch or damage the O-ring. If anything is damaged, please contact us to replace with a new one.
Installation Instructions
  • The complete cartridge seal set is cleaned and passed leakage examination before sale. To avoid damage, do not disassemble and clean parts again before installation.
  • The fitting allowance between seal and shaft is dl h6 0.8. Ensure leading-in edge at shaft end. Lubricate shaft with oil.
  • Place cartridge seal into pump chamber, then:
    • Tighten four screw bolts of flanges, ensuring medium leading in hole "G" at top position
    • Tighten four set screws to position shaft sleeve on shaft
    • Remove four gauge plates (keep for future installation and disassembly)
    • Connect medium lead-in pipe with hole "G" to flush away friction heat and flush seal chamber during pump operation
Note: After complete installation, turn shaft by hand to check rotation. If shaft does not rotate smoothly, seal has been improperly installed.
