Non-toxic Visco Elastic Putty and Petrolatum Tape Advanced corrosion resistant protection for wide temperature range
applications from -45°C and above. Product Overview Non-cross-linked synthetic putty designed for external corrosion
protection of underground objects. This visco elastic material is
specifically formulated for steel pipelines and compatible with
adjacent factory coatings including PE, PP, and FBE. Core Properties Water-displacing formulation with full water resistance and
extremely low permeability. Ideal for buried constructions and
environments with low to medium service temperatures. Serves as a
corrosion protective moulding compound for void filling and surface
leveling prior to mechanical protective coating application. Key Features
Product Benefits
Application Guidelines Suitable for application with hand-operated, electric, or pneumatic
caulking guns equipped with flexible nozzles. Due to permanent
viscous properties, filled gaps should be covered with additional
visco elastic tape to prevent material flow over time. For
above-ground flange applications, additional mechanical protection
using Visco Elastic Putty, Visco Elastic Tape, or Outerwrap PVC is
recommended. |
