Petroleum Paste is a pliable, soft, brown petrolatum primer that is specially formulated with moisture displacing and corrosion inhibiting compounds. It can be applied using a brush or gloved hand at normal temperature. The key feature of this paste is that it does not dry, harden or crack, making it ideal for various applications.

The Petroleum Paste is widely used as a primer prior to the application of petrolatum tapes. This paste has excellent penetration and can displace moisture, pacify the surface and aid in the adhesion of tapes and mastic to the required surfaces. If your surfaces have existing rust, you can still use this paste, and it will work its way to penetrate and displace any moisture, providing a protective layer and superior adhesion.

Overall, Petroleum Paste is an excellent primer with high-performance capabilities, and it can be used on various surfaces to achieve a long-lasting, protective barrier that lasts for years. Applications:

There are a few steps for removing rust and wiping soil from an object. First, you will need to use a wire-brush to remove any rust present on the object. Once you have done this, you can then proceed to wiping the soil from the object using rags.

When it comes to applying PETRO PASTE, it is recommended that you apply it regularly and by hand. The ideal range for application is between 300 to 500 grams per square meter.

If you need to apply PETRO PASTE on a surface that is uneven or complicated, it can be used as a filler in areas such as Valve, Flange, Unevenness. This is because there may be spaces that come out when tape wrapping in these areas.

After applying the tape, it is important to overlap it for a minimum of 15 minutes. The recommended percentage of overlap is between 30% to 50%. Once the swathing is complete, level the tape with stroking by hands to remove the joints according to the line.

If you need an outer tape for finishing, P.V.C OUTER TAPE is a good option to consider. It comes in various colors that can be used for indication by environmental situation.
