Thickness is another important factor affecting the performance of EPDM foam, and foams of different thicknesses are suitable for different applications.

- Thin EPDM foam (0.5-2mm): Commonly used in applications requiring precise sealing, such as sealing seams around electronic components and display bezels. Thin foam offers excellent flexibility and conformability, enabling effective sealing in small gaps.

- Medium EPDM foam (2-5mm): Suitable for modular sealing and battery compartment sealing in electronic devices. While providing good sealing, medium-density foam can absorb vibration and shock to protect internal components.

Thick EPDM foam (5mm and above): Mainly used in applications requiring high compression and cushioning performance, such as shock-absorbing pads for electronic equipment casings and waterproof seals for large equipment. Thick foam effectively absorbs impact energy and prevents equipment damage.
