Cr15Ni60/60Ni16Cr/NiCr6015 NiCr Alloys Consistent Performance in
High-Resistance Applications Cr15Ni60 is a high-resistance electric heating alloy characterized
by its excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation
resistance. It primarily consists of 15% chromium and 60% nickel,
with the balance being iron and trace amounts of other elements.
This composition provides the alloy with a stable resistivity that
increases linearly with temperature, making it ideal for
applications requiring precise temperature control. Cr15Ni60
exhibits strong resistance to oxidation, even at temperatures up to
1000°C, due to the formation of a protective chromium oxide layer
that prevents further oxidation. It is widely used in furnaces,
ovens, and other high-temperature equipment where consistent and
reliable heating is critical. The alloy's properties, such as low
thermal expansion and high resistivity, make it a preferred choice
for electric heating elements in various industrial processes. Main characteristics of Ni-Cr and Ni-Cr-Fe electric heating alloys Type
