Solvent Based Mandrel Release Agent Lubekote 9808

Introduction:

Lubekote 9808 release agent is fluorine series release agent, it has excellent release performance for hose mandrel.

The release agent does not contain oily substances. It will not pollute the surface of the mold mandrel and hose, the demoulding effect is good, the inner layer of rubber finish, no quality defects such as pitting trachoma.

Especially used in rubber, nylon, plastic, iron, aluminum and other mandrel. Because Lubekote 9808 precipitates easily, it must be stirred to a milky liquid before application. It is for direct use without dilution. However, it can also be diluted 0.5-1 times with the mixture of isopropyl alcohol and No. 120 gasoline according to the process requirements.

Application:

1. Clean the previously used silicone oil and other dirt on the surface of the mandrel (wipe with organic solvent or other methods), and dry.

2. For the first time, apply Lubekote 9808 on the surface of the mandrel with a cotton brush. After the solvent evaporates, apply another layer to the surface of the mandrel. When the solvent is completely evaporated, the inner glue can be extruded to the mandrel surface.

If the release agent is automatically sprayed, it is best to let the mandrel pass through the cotton cloth or sponge wrapped around the mandrel after spraying, so as to help the release agent evenly and thin distribution on the surface of the mandrel.

3. It is best to repeat step 2 before the second and third vulcanization. This helps the entire mandrel surface to reach the ideal state, so that the mold each smooth, oil-free and dense PTFE film

4. After each production, only brush once.
