Main Purpose: It is widely used in oral and topical preparations.In oral preparations,it is mainly used as binder for tablets,film coating materials and skeleton materials for sustained-release preparations.Low viscosity type can be used as a wet or dry granulated binder,or a direct tablet process of dry binder,the amount is generally 2~6%;It can also be used as a film forming material in the coating powder of ethanol system or water system.High viscosity type can be used as a skeleton material for slow and controlled release preparations, and the dosage is generally 15~35%.In topical preparations,it can be used in transdermal patches or ophthalmic preparations.In food and cosmetics,it can be used as an emulsifier and stabilizer.
