The TPS53316RGTR is a fully integrated, high current, synchronous step down DC/DC regulator. It can deliver up to 6A of output current from a 4.5V to 18V input voltage range with a maximum output voltage of 0.8V. This regulator features a wide range of features such as current-mode control, selectable frequency, adjustable soft-start, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown protection. It also incorporates an internal power switch, allowing for a small solution size. This device is ideal for applications that require high power output with a wide input voltage range.
