The MAX487ESA+T is an advanced CMOS integrated circuit designed for use in balanced and unbalanced data transmission systems operating in half-duplex mode. This device is capable of transmitting and receiving data over a differential or single-ended line. The MAX487ESA+T is designed to meet the requirements of the EIA/TIA-422 Standard and features a low power shutdown mode that reduces supply current to less than 1 µA.

• Capable of transmitting and receiving data over a differential or single-ended line
