The device is made primarily of silicone and are supplied sterile (sterilised by Ethylene Oxide)

The devices is not made with natural rubber latex and phthalates.

The device have three main components: airway tube, cuff and inflation system.

The inflating system of laryngeal mask airway catheter (general type with indicating balloon) consists of inflating tube, indicating balloon and one-way valve. The indicating airbag provides a rough indication of the pressure inside the hood and a one-way valve prevents leakage of air and maintains the hood pressure.
