Descriptions:

A thin premium grade plasticized electrical self-extinguishing soft PVC film coated with an aggressive pressure sensitive rubber based adhesive with good characteristics. It is suitable for continuous use at 80℃ with good electric flammability and soft property, not influenced by most chemical substances and humidity. It does not contain substances harmful to human body, such as lead and cadmium. It complies with ROHS requirement. It has been designed for automotive wire harness application.

For PVC Automotive Wire Harness Tape, does the stronger stickiness mean the better quality? Why do some tapes seem not very stickywhen tested by hand touch?
 

The correct method to determine the stickiness of a PVC electrical insulating tape is to use the instrument to detect it
according to the tape viscosity standard of different thickness, rather than to feel it by hand. If simply use the hand feeling to determine the stickiness, coating the tape with more glue is enough, but finally it will cause glue overflowing.
We have excellent technical support to make our products have a reasonable proportion of glue, avoid glue overflowing and flagging problems.

Recommendations
Rolls should be stored flat on their cut edges in the original packaging. The products must be protected from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent fumes. The storage temperature should be between +10℃ and +25℃ x 65%R.H. Use within 12months of receipt. The tape should be applied with sufficient tension to ensure an optimum bonding and a minimum of two layers with a half overlap. The final layer should be wrapped with a lower tension to prevent flagging effects. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of dust, grease, oil or other contaminants.
