EHS-4 eddy current hardness non-destructive
sortors (also known as eddy current testing systems for
hardness measurement) are devices that utilize electromagnetic
induction to evaluate the hardness of conductive materials without
causing damage to the material. These systems work based on the
principle of eddy currents, which are circular electric currents
induced within conductors when they are exposed to a changing
magnetic field. The characteristics of the eddy currents (such as
their magnitude and distribution) depend on the material's
properties, including its hardness.
