EK1100 Beckhoff EtherCAT Coupler Connect EtherCAT Protocol to Terminal Modules The Beckhoff EK1100 is a high-performance EtherCAT coupler that serves as the critical link between the EtherCAT
protocol at fieldbus level and EtherCAT terminal modules. This
essential coupling device converts Ethernet 100BASE-TX transmission
messages into E-bus signals, enabling seamless communication
between the EtherCAT network and connected terminal modules. Designed for industrial automation applications, the EK1100
features two RJ45 Ethernet interfaces supporting connection lengths up to 100 meters, allowing
flexible network topology configurations. The coupler supports up
to 65,535 EtherCAT terminal modules in a single system, providing exceptional scalability for
complex automation projects. The EK1100 incorporates automatic terminal detection and displays all connected modules individually in the
