LD MUI-01 61320946 ABB Local multi-functional human-machine
interface unit
ABB LD MUI-01 is a Local multi-functional human-machine interface
unit specifically designed for Relion® 615, 620 and 650 series
multi-functional protection relays (such as REF615, REM615, REF650,
RED650, etc.) Multi-function User Interface. This device
communicates with the main relay via a dedicated connection cable,
providing an intuitive LCD display, operation keys and status
indicators. This enables maintenance personnel to directly view
measurement values, confirm alarms, execute control commands or
configure parameters on-site without relying on remote SCADA or
engineering laptops.

Installation and Usage instructions
Mechanical installation
The opening of the control cabinet door is 92 × 45 mm.
Insert the LD MUI-01 from the front and lock it with the snap at
the rear.
Install the sealing gasket to ensure IP65 protection.
Electrical connection
Connect to the MUI interface on the back of the main relay using
the included 8-core shielded cable.
The shielding layer of the cable needs to be grounded at a single
point to prevent interference.
Operation process
Automatically synchronize the host data upon startup.
Use the arrow keys to browse the menu (measurement values, events,
controls, etc.);
Press "Confirm" to perform the operation (such as "Trip Reset" or
"CB Close");
When an alarm occurs, the red LED flashes and the screen displays
the fault code.
