What is a TN Segmented LCD?

• A segmented LCD uses predefined shapes or "segments" that can be turned on or off to display static content (e.g., a digital clock showing "8:88").
• Twisted Nematic (TN) is a liquid crystal technology where the liquid crystals are twisted 90° between two layers of glass. Applying voltage causes the crystals to untwist, controlling the amount of light passing through.
