Water Flow Rate Measurement Sensor For DJI M350
Tailored specifically for the DJI Matrice 350, the Water Flow Rate
Measurement Sensor merges Doppler radar and millimeter-wave radar
into an integrated, high-performance unit. Via a pre-set
intelligent system, it can gauge water flow speed, monitor
real-time water levels, and calculate river discharge—offering
all-round support for hydrological surveys and flood early
warnings. To ensure steady work in harsh conditions, it adopts
advanced heat dissipation tech and features excellent dustproof and
waterproof performance.
The working principle of this water flow monitoring system centers
on radar signal interaction. It sends targeted radar pulses to the
water surface and captures the echoed signals. By applying the
Doppler principle, it analyzes the phase shifts and frequency
changes in the reflected signals to figure out the water flow
speed, ensuring even slight fluid movement changes are accurately
detected and converted into usable data.
A key advantage of this sensor is its intelligent monitoring
function, including high-precision detection, real-time data
transmission, and immediate feedback. Equipped with high-precision
sensing components, it transmits measurement data instantly,
enabling continuous tracking of flow speed variations while
conducting in-depth observation and analysis of water movement and
hydrological features. The combined effect of Doppler radar and
millimeter-wave radar is vital to its performance, allowing
simultaneous measurement of water velocity and level, followed by
automatic calculation of river discharge.
With DJI’s SKYPORT V2.0 interface, the sensor supports
non-destructive quick installation and plug-and-play use, which can
be directly mounted on DJI Matrice 300 and M350 series drones.
